About K-Saju
Who runs this site, and why it exists.
K-Saju is a free reading of your saju — the Korean Four Pillars of Destiny. You enter the year, month, day, and (if you know it) the hour and minute of your birth, and the site builds the eight-character chart that a Korean fortune teller would read: four pillars, each a heavenly stem and an earthly branch, plus your day master, your five-element balance, and the balancing element a traditional reading looks for.
The whole thing is in English, for readers outside Korea who keep running into saju — in K-dramas, on Korean social media, from a Korean friend who asks your birth time before they answer a single question about your love life. Most of those readers have never had a way to actually get their own chart. This site is that way.
Why we built it
Two reasons. First, most saju readers in English are a chatbot wearing a costume. Ask a general-purpose AI for your four pillars and it guesses the month boundary from the calendar date — which is wrong for anyone born near a solar term, because the month pillar changes at the exact astronomical moment the term arrives, not at midnight on the first. We compute those term times the way a Korean manse calendar does, down to the minute, and we cross-checked the calculation against two independent libraries before publishing it. If the engine disagreed with itself on a single date, we did not ship.
Second, a chart should be something you can keep. Every reading here produces a card you can save or send to a group chat — the link comes back to the full reading. We could not find another English saju site that does this, so we made one.
What this is not
K-Saju is for reflection and entertainment. It is not advice — not medical, not legal, not financial, not a substitute for your own judgment about your own life. A chart is a mirror, not a verdict. We say that on every reading, and we mean it.
How we make money
The reading is free and there is nothing to buy. The site is supported by advertising. We do not sell reports, we do not gate anything behind a paywall, and we do not sell your birth data. See the privacy policy for exactly what we do and do not collect.
